CONCERT.

Simply put, I live for the weekend!  Since I’ve started college, it has been the time to partay it up and see all those friends that you unfortunately don’t cross paths with in your weekly routine.  I love that opportunity!  Like most people, I don’t really do the same exact thing every weekend, which is wonderful!  I love the spontaneity and variety that this entails, in sheer contrast to such a structured week of work and school!

This past Saturday night was entirely fabulous!

I took a leap and bought some tickets for some bands that we had never even heard of!  Sabs and I threw on our tank tops and jumped in my car, with glow sticks of course (EXTRA is my middle name)! Unsure of what to expect, the bands ended up being amazing! The Howls had such a movin vibe and they had funny/savage stories behind most of their tunes!  Roseburg was fineeeeeeeee, holy crap they had us jumping around the whole time, even when they were just sound checking, we were shaking our heads!

—To tone down the casual weekend vibe, let’s key in on how truly powerful music is, and can be in your own personal life.  When all life and caboodle seems unbearably confusing, the lyrics of a song(s) can quite literally paint those feelings that you may be ever so struggling to express!  I recently experienced this with someone I’m very close with!  Music can act as the mechanism in which bridges any internal detachment from understanding to utterly firm cognizance of the sincerest affections of your heart!  Take advantage of this remarkable opportunity to explore the magnitude of thoughtfully written out lyrics and choose to be mindful of any subsequent growth that may take place internally!

I highly recommend hitting up a local concert or just flipping through your Spotify for something new, paying close attention to those lyrics!  Who knows what spark will ignite within you from doing so!  From the bottom of my heart, I know that the power of music is phenomenal, sensational!  My dearest dad channeled this to me at a very young age, through Saturday mornings and long drives of blasting classic rock!
