Tibble Fork Reservoir! Pleaseee head up American Fork Canyon to this stellar spot. When sweet Dannia proposed driving up the canyon to a lake, I was of course ecstatic. We had just returned from an exhausting day of traveling, but that was not going to stop us from having this adventure!
A drive of therapy. A drive of friendship. A drive of trust. A drive of support. Without delving unnecessary context, let me say how pleasantly healing a simple drive with a good friend truly is. The act of resisting the urge, better put- the habit, of bottling up your feelings. Finding a genuine person that you can share those things with. Making the choice, for yourself and your happiness, to show your heart. Showing how your special experiences have hurt you, inspired you, made and crafted you into who you are today. The special and perfectly existing human that you are.
Find that courage to care for your heart. Muster the power to do what is best for you to help yourself, so you can help the world. Empowering yourself empowers the globe.

Hearts and minds don’t heal over night and I don’t intend for it to seem that way. I simply intend to point out that you are powerful, more powerful than you know yet.
This specific drive was a drive with spectacular sights out the window, every inch of the highway! Passing campgrounds, trail-heads, some cabins, even lookout points. It isn’t long before you are overlooking the reservoir!
Literally breathtaking views in every direction. There was even a little bit of snow left over from the winter. On a kind April afternoon, we were greeted by clear aqua skies, that crisp mountain air, some fisherman, with a few groups of friends and family. We were all there to take in the wonder and experience the creation that we have been given for our splendor. An enjoyment that we must not take for granted. An enjoyment that carries with it an important responsibility and obligation to tenderly enrich our environment.
