Your room is your sanctuary. Whether it is where you do all of your healing, your creative work, your meditation, or just sleep.
In all the apartments that I have lived in, I have done my best to make it feel like home.
Make it feel special.
Make it feel like a space where I can not only survive, but thrive.
There are so many easy and simple ways to make this happen-
A family photo.
A Polaroid print.
A mantra.
A movie poster (I had a roommate that would go to the theater all the time to get the movie posters that they were throwing out!)-
What ever it is that makes the space unique to you and makes you happy!
A happy space can help your mindset and attitude so much.
That is a truth that I sincerely believe in and stand by!
Your environment influences how you feel entirely and so taking time to think out your space is important.
At the end of the day, if your walls are clear, that’s okay.
I am confident in what I say, but decorations are frivolous.
As long as you have a space where you can love yourself and love those around you-
that is what it’s all about!
This was the best space to live in for several months. Now I am starting from scratch in my Salt Lake City apartment. A room tour to come, once again, when I am finally settled and able to thrift the perfect little furniture items. Anyone know of any good thrift stores in the Salt Lake Valley?
Bon voyage for now, you’re reading this, got this far, and
I LOVE YOU
